The main business of JDH is that of an investment holding company focused on early stage strategic investments in advanced technologies, in South Africa, which have global applications and offer more cost effective products than currently available, if available at all.

It is also a strategy of the company to identify existing technologies in the global market place that have application possibilities in South Africa and to either directly introduce these technologies or adapt them to suite South African requirements.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Each year, the JDH Group chooses a worthy cause to support. For the past three years through concensus with all employees in the Group we have been supporting children's homes in and around the Western Cape.

To this end we not only involve all employees throughout the Group, but also our suppliers, clients, various stakeholders, friends and family. We arrange a special corporate fundraising event (The John Daniel Annual Potjiekos Competition) whereby teams who participate contribute a donation which is applied to buying school supplies for the children's homes.
