JDH invests in and builds companies from scratch adding value, offering assistance, support, guidance and provides the administrative and infrastructural backbone required to succeed. We believe that the entrepreneur should be freed from mundane tasks as much as possible in order to focus on the development of their product, process or service in their field of expertise. JDH helps entrepreneurs build strong businesses for the long term.



INVESTMENT FOCUS

The company’s investments currently include healthcare, biotechnology and specialised packaging. Generally all opportunities are viewed individually and we seek to invest in companies with the following attributes:

- capable entrepreneurial management teams with vision and experience

- products which address global markets with high growth rates and very little competition

- patented leading edge technologies with high barriers to entry

- technologies that have the potential to generate high commercial returns at an early stage

- technologies that represent the foundation for the next great company

JDH is a classic venture capital company with a unique ability to support entrepreneurial activity in multiple contexts. At JDH we understand the risks associated with early stage and start-up ventures. Both subsidiaries currently owned by the company were developed through the provision of seed capital and assistance of JDH. Does your product, service or process satisfy a true need in the marketplace?

UNIQUENESS
Is your product, service or process truly unique?

UNDERLYING TECHNOLOGY
We do not invest in gadgets and widgets. Is your product, service or process based on verifiable, repeatable peer reviewed scientific data and research?

GLOBAL APPLICATION  
Does your product, service or process have global application?
